Free vs Paid Trading Signals: Compare Access, Evidence and Responsibilities
A price tag describes a commercial arrangement. It does not establish the quality or suitability of an instruction.
Free can mean several different things
Public education, a limited alert feature, sample instructions and a trial of a paid product are different offers. Identify the actual free object and any eligibility or renewal condition. Do not describe a conditional trial as a permanently free complete workflow.
A public source can still be useful for learning or observation. Its limits should remain visible: a sample of messages is not a complete history, and an educational article is not an executable plan.
Paid access should solve a named gap
A subscription may add a complete archive, a configurable workspace or a specific delivery route. Confirm the exact tier rather than assuming all displayed features are included. Compare that increment with what you already have.
Payment itself does not make the record audited or the outcome attainable. Ask for evidence appropriate to the claimed deliverable. A paid scanner and a paid publisher can have very different evaluation tasks.
Compare the same operating brief
Use one task, schedule and evidence requirement for both options. If the free path cannot deliver the desired object, note that limitation. If the paid path adds no usable increment, retain the free path. Do not change the brief merely to justify a purchase.
Include the next charge and required dependencies. A discounted first month can still create a larger commitment than a free-first observation workflow. The correct outcome may be to defer both while resolving the task.
Decision Record
| Decision question | Record to retain |
|---|---|
| What is actually free? | Sample, education, trial or sustained access |
| What changes when I pay? | Exact deliverable increment |
| What renews? | Selected offer and dependencies |
