Pricing Transparency: Read the Selected Checkout
The initial amount, recurring commitment and required dependencies are separate facts.
Offer identity
Save the exact product, selected tier, billing currency and period. A monthly equivalent on an annual offer does not imply monthly cancellation. A trial and an introductory paid month also have different commercial boundaries.
Dependency inventory
Confirm data, hosting, platform and outside seller charges where applicable. Do not assume every service needs the same components. Mark a dependency required only when the selected product or configuration establishes that requirement.
Conflicting terms
If the product page and checkout disagree, seek clarification before relying on the cheaper description. A review publication should expose the conflict rather than choose an attractive number. Cancellation and refund conditions need their own dated source.
Decision Record
| Decision question | Record to retain |
|---|---|
| What should I request? | Save the exact product, selected tier, billing currency and period. A monthly equivalent on an annual offer does not imply monthly cancellation. A trial and an introductory paid month also have different commercial boundaries. |
| What should stay unresolved? | If the product page and checkout disagree, seek clarification before relying on the cheaper description. A review publication should expose the conflict rather than choose an attractive number. Cancellation and refund conditions need their own dated source. |
